Why the name SAT300?

The answer to the first part is easy – SAT is the Airport Designation for San Antonio,, Texas.

And the 300 part recalls the 300th anniversary of the arrival of the first non-indigenous settlers in San Antonio.  History of Spanish settlement of San Antonio.
